Hull City News – The Latest Contract Offers

Hull City gave three key players new contracts— including Jarrod Bowen — as they look to compete for a top-six place this season. Winger Kamil Grosicki and center-back Jordy de Wijs also had discussions with the club along with Bowen, who was targeted in recent transfer windows by the Premier League. Bowen, who scored 10 wing goals this season, is now mulling over a new three-year offer after being tracked by Newcastle, Southampton and Crystal Palace.

Kamil Grosicki

Kamil Grosicki sees his current Hull contract expire by next summer. Hull’s available spending value range increased from £15 million to £20 million, putting several top-tier sides off a deal, and the 22-year-old is understood to be keen to stay at KCOM Stadium and help push for promotion. Hull is one of the Championship’s mid-table pack after the last 15 rounds, but after three straight wins, they’re just three points behind a play-off and six behind second-placed Preston. And Bowen, whose current contract has an extra 12-month option until next summer, suggested this week a response to the new offer could come after the upcoming international break. His performance in their latest game was enough to tear people away from the best new casino bonuses in NZ, even if the team ultimately lost.

Jordy de Wijs

Jordy de Wijs is under contract until 2021, but has also been offered fresh terms. Talking about the opportunity, the player stated that the bid had already been made, but that his agents are always keeping the information away from him, adding that they don’t want him to have it on his mind because of the way he is at the moment. He continued, saying that they want him to continue on his current form, especially considering where the team is currently in the results, and that they plan on waiting for the international break before talking about it and going on from there.  Poland’s international Grosicki, 31, also sees his current deal expire at the end of the season, while De Wijs, who signed PSV Eindhoven in 2018, has more than 18 months left to run on his first contract with the Tigers.

Hull Loses To West Brom

West Brom has strengthened their position at the top of the championship table thanks to their latest victory of 1-0 against Hull at the KCOM Stadium. Jake Livermore had spent three and a half seasons playing for Hull before moving over to West Brom in 2017, having scored the only goal in the 28th minute, making it a difficult loss to swallow for the Tigers. The home side had plenty of chances, with Kamil Grosicki spurning their biggest opportunity, but West Brom continued to add the pressure to ensure that Livermore’s strike was enough to keep the game in their favour.

Talking about their loss, Hull’s manager Grand McCann said that he believed that West Brom had been better than them for the first half of the match, and that they are at the top of the league for a reason. He added that he was disappointed with the performance in the first half, but that they had tried in the second half, despite the loss being frustrating.
