After his takeover of the Championship Division Hull City Football Club, Acun Ilicali intends to bring Premier League football back to the club’s hometown of East Yorkshire.

Arveladze Appointment the First Step

The appointment of Shota Arveladze is the first step in Ilicali’s Grand Plan for the team’s promotion. The 48-year-old Georgian has come in as a replacement for Grant McCann, who was recently fired. Arveladze is very pleased with his new position and has publicly thanked everyone for giving him this opportunity.

He went on to say that he’s incredibly motivated and has the desire to show how well Hull City can do with the current members of the team and the quality of the new talent the football club has. Hull City’s current standings are 19th in the Championship Division. This is nine points above the dreaded relegation zone but 15 points from the play-offs.

Ilicali Defines Happiness

Speaking to the press, Ilicali said that he hopes to bring something about that will make everyone happy before going on to specify that, in football, happiness comes directly from results. Thus, the first milestone Hull City needs to reach is playing good football and the results will necessarily follow.

He stated that, for him, happiness lies in getting his team into the Premier League, so that’s what he’s here to do.

Grand Ambitions

Ilicali’s aspirations are like an online pokies player who is eyeing out the jackpot. His dreams extend far beyond the Tigers retaining their Championship status. He said that, as people talked about relegation, he’s putting his mind to promotion. Ilicali explained that his mind is always working on being positive and that he consciously directs his thoughts in this direction to fulfil his dreams.

A Revamp for the Tigers

With mere days left of the transfer window for them to complete their business, Arveladze and Ilicali are focussing on overhauling Hull City Football Club. Ilicali has confirmed that sought-after winger Keane Lewis-Potter isn’t going anywhere, regardless of the fact that the Premier League has expressed interest in the player, and that the focus for now will be on incoming players.

With restrictions around player loans and the transfer embargo now lifted, the first incoming player to join Hull City FC is Allahyar Sayyadmanesh, Fenerbahce’s Iran striker, subject to him passing his medical.

Ilicali has said that he trusts the Tigers coach and believes in his vision and intelligence, so the four signings he’s proposed is enough. He explained that no one wants to damage the potential futures of Hull City Football Club’s young, premium players.

Arveladze’s Experience of the British Game

While Arveladze has neither coached nor played in England, he does have experience of the game as it’s played in this part of the world because he played in Scotland for the Rangers.

Speaking of this time of his life, Arveladze said that he’s been in the UK as a football player and knows the differences of the game here all too well. He specifically noted the adrenaline, energy, and tension around the game here and says he’s looking forward to delivering his best.

Hull City has been on something of a turnaround over the last few months. While they didn’t end on a particularly strong note by the time the 2022 season had come to an end, especially with the loss of some key players, Hull City showed their club’s true strengths in one of their most recent victories.

West Brom

A match that has got the world of professional football ablaze is The Tigers’ latest match against West Brom. Many consider it an ode to true football, to the small clubs fighting it out for glory. It was also an astounding win for Hull City, one that has once again elevated their name among fans of the English football sphere in general.

Karl Darlow was named the man of the match for Hull’s latest victory playing West Brom. Darlow earned his title thanks to a number of successes on the field, although curiously the young talent was quick to praise his teammates for their victory rather than himself.

Despite the fact that the team had a total of 21 attempts on their goal, as well as being in the minority on the field in terms of ball possession, Hull City was determined. They would end their match with an astounding 2-0 against West Brom regardless of their possession handicap, making the win that much sweeter for all players involved.

The game took place at favourite MKM Stadium, which has become increasingly popular in recent years for local English-based events.

Loaded Successes

It’s not really a first for Hull City, however, as the team has been on something of a warpath lately, with games almost as exciting as horse racing betting. In fact, their West Brom win just adds one more to the now total tally of 7 unbeaten games in a row, something that many felt would be completely unheard of just a short year ago. The team has obviously found its strengths and rebounded forward, and much of this success is due to recent sign-ups over the last season that saw the team gain an enormous amount of talent.

The Tigers worked for three important points, and it was a loan stopper courtesy from Darlow that would ultimately decide the match. The player was on form from the minute the game started and proved his mettle on the field in what would be a home debut for him. Along with this, Darlow was also at the forefront of several extremely important saves that took place along the way, and he almost single-handedly gave his team the edge that they needed to win the day.

Talking to reporters, Darlow said that it could not have gone any better. He felt that both him and his team performed extremely well on the field, especially considering that it was a fairly tough game. He explained that he felt that his team were backed against a wall for much of the game, but their persistence allowed them to push through the resistance and get the wins that they needed.

Looking at the history of the Hull City FC Tigers is truly fascinating. The club has had a long and winding journey over the years, enjoying many highs but also suffering numerous lows. Although the lows are also worth mentioning, it is the highs that we’ll be looking at today. After all, if you don’t appreciate the best times, how can you endure the worst times?

Let’s take a closer look at some of the greatest moments in the history of the Hull City FC Tigers.

2014, Arsenal VS Hull City

Without a doubt one of the greatest moments in Hull FC history is the match against Arsenal in 2014. Yes, the final score had Arsenal ahead with 3 to 2, but the match itself was still spectacular. This was, after all, the first FA Cup final the Tigers had ever managed, and it truly seemed like the team might just achieve ultimate victory.

Most memorable is that the Tigers truly dominated in the first 15 minutes, sending devoted fans into a frenzy of celebrations. It didn’t work out in the end, but who can deny that this is perhaps the greatest match in Hull City FC history?

2013, Cardiff City VS Hull City

In most circumstances a 2-2 draw would be considered an anti-climax, but not when the result gets your team to the Premier League. It was against Cardiff City in 2013 that the Tigers needed a win better than that of Watford. The 2-2 draw was, therefore, a victory unlike the club had seen in years.

Looking at it another way; that Watford lost to Leeds United ensured that the Tigers finally got the respect they deserved, even if it was a draw that acted as the final stepping stone. Either way, the match was so intense many fans had to head online for a bit of real money pokies, just to lower their heart rates.

2016, Hull City VS Sheffield Wednesday

As far as classic football matches go, Hull City versus Sheffield Wednesday in 2016 perhaps doesn’t rank very high. There was, after all, only a single goal in the second half. But as far as Tiger fans are concerned the clash is still something to write home about. Mo Diame sent a scorcher into the net, ensuring that the Tigers had a clear path ahead.

2014, Hull City Versus Sheffield United

Last we have the match that set up the ultimate showdown against Arsenal. It was against Sheffield United that Hull City really triumphed, managing to come out with a 5-3. The match was, all in all, a battle of bold moves and massive goals, giving fans a truly impressive display of top tier football. By halftime the Tigers were already up 2-1, but things were just getting started.

The first 22 minutes of the second half saw Matty Fryatt, Tom Huddlestone and Stephen Quinn each landing a goal of their own, seeming to declare the match all but over. But, thinking that the lead wasn’t enough, David Meyler pushed the goals to final score of 5-3.

]]>
It’s been one of the very best seasons in recent years for the Hull City Tigers, a club that was once in serious trouble, but has since made a major comeback to become one of the most celebrated professional football clubs within the United Kingdom right now.

The world of football has come to something of a grinding halt at the moment as the world shifts its view over to the World Cup, which is taking place in Qatar and has been met with endless controversy. For Hull City, however, their season so far has been anything but quiet, especially within the first few months of the season. They’ve also seen three different manages come and go, as well as plenty of new players becoming part of the team.

The Top Goal

There have been a lot of great goals scored throughout the season, but a few of them stick out above the rest. The strike done at Burnley by Ozan Tufan is a notable example. Greg Docherty, playing at Blackpool arguably deserves the title for best goal of the season. Docherty is extremely talented on the field and is one of the best sportsmen that the team has right now. Docherty was forced to take some time off due to some injuries that he suffered, but he eventually returned to the field as strong as ever.

The Best Overall Player So Far

While the Tigers have done better than in previous years, many feel that they didn’t do their best, reflected by the fact that they are currently sitting at 20th within the league.

The team has seen a lot of improvements this season, but overall, the team has more work to do before they really begin to find their stride as a team. Of course, Greg Docherty remains a favourite on the field, and has managed to become a natural part of the group after just a few weeks. Cyrus Christie as well as Lewie Coyle are both making strides within the Tigers, and both have bright futures.

Regan Slater has perhaps been the most stand out player of them all. Slater has shown immense skill right from the start of his time with the club, and has worked hard throughout the season, and he might be a safe bet in the future for punters wanting to keep tabs on favourites, a great way to spent winnings from real money roulette online. He has delivered for just about every single week that he’s been playing and has been a particular favourite among fans these last few months.

The Highlight Of The Season

There have been more than a few highlights from the team over the course of the most recent season. For many, it was the more than 20000 passionate fans that came over to support the players while they were in Sheffield United, even if the match did ultimately end in loss for the Tigers.

Hull FC has had one of the busiest seasons for a long time, and it’s been an overall positive year for the Tigers. Previously, after losing more than a number of events, morale at the club was low and it felt like the team would struggle to ever turn their luck around. But with a new head coach on the horizon as well as a round of young and talented players now pushing the team forward, we’ve started to see more frequent successes from the Tigers.

The Latest Statement About The Head Coach

For some time now, the Tigers have been on the lookout for a new head coach to take over the time. Pedro Martins has been in talks for a while now to take over the position. Although nothing official had been signed or written up, it was a part of a verbal agreement that Martins would become the new head coach for the team, but it has recently been revealed that the talks have since broken down that that Martins will no longer be taking over. Instead, caretaker manager Andy Dawson will continue his role as is while the club continues to keep an eye out for a new head coach.

As part of the breaking news, it was stated that they had been unable to reach a mutual agreement with Martins, and that they had ultimately decided to cancel all negotiations going forward. They stated that while Martins is undoubtedly a great coach for the team, the club felt that they were unable to meet his demands, and that Andy Dawson will continue to lead for the time being. The club also stated that the team and the managers remain unified as a single entity, and that everyone is doing their best to prepare for their upcoming games, with the latest being played against Huddersfield.

Jeton

E-wallet provider Jeton has recently announced that it has entered a partnership with Hull City. The e-wallet allows for users to send and receive money, as well as a number of other functions designed to make all monetary transactions as easy as possible.

The deal will allow Jeton to display their brand name across LED boards, large screen displays, the club’s website, as well as the matchday programme. This is not the first English football club that Jeton has partnered with – previously it had been West Ham – and it’s believed that the e-wallet is looking to become a much more common part of the football scene throughout the country. E-wallets are popular across the world, for making online purchase and for playing casino games, like those from online Indian casinos.

Commercial sales manager of Hull City, Phil Dayes, told the public that the club is happy to be teaming up with a company like Jeton and that the two entities share many of the same values. He stated that it was another positive step forward for the club, and that they are looking forward to a long and successful partnership.

]]>
Hull City has recently released news of a series of transfers that are sure to get fans excited, as the club continues to build its player list amid one of the more success seasons that the team has enjoyed in recent years.

Here are some of the most recent additions to Hull City as the club continues to finalise more contracts for the upcoming season.

Salah Oulad M’Hand

The newest player to be drafted into the team is Salah Oulad M’Hand, who has recently finished his move to Hull City from Arsenal after the two clubs agree on a loan deal that’s set to last the entire season. The 18-year-old had finished the details on the contract over the last weekend.

The talented newcomer might see his latest move to the MKM Stadium made more permanent at some point next summer, with a fee agreement made between the two clubs, and it’s already confirmed that he will be wearing the number 10 jersey.

Public Statements

Acun Illicali, the current owner of Hull City, along with head coach Shota Arveladze have both spend a lot of their time securing Salah for the summer, and he will be spending a full week in training with his new team. It’s expected that he will be making his debut on the field when the Tigers host their game against Coventry City.

Talking about the transfer, Arveladze told the public that it was a good move based upon the fact that a lot of Arsenal fans were not happy to see him leave. He continued, stating that it was both an opportunity for Salah as well as for the club, and it gives a previous Arsenal player the chance to play in a lot of games, while also allowing the club to become more creative with the players that are entering the club for the first time.

The Future For Salah

Salah has made it clear to the public throughout his negotiations that he was excited to be joining the Tigers, and hopes to play a key role that will allow him to rise among the ranks and eventually see serious time on the field during the Premier League at some point in the future. This is also a scenario that Arveladze hopes for and has said that’s it’s a key part of bringing the new player into the ranks. Betting fans should definitely keep an eye on the player, who will no doubt influence the odds at mobile betting sites in NZ when the team plays.

He explained that they already have a dressing room that’s going to give Salah and other new players a warm welcome and give them a good understanding of what’s expected of them in the team and how they can contribute. He also gave credit to the current team, who have gone to great lengths to ensure that Salah knows how the team will work together and how they form a united front for the upcoming season.

Georgian national, Shota Arveladze, was born on 22 February 1973 in Tbilisi and is a professional football manager and former national player for Georgia, among others.

He was appointed manager of the English Football League (EFL) championship club Hull City in January 2022 following the club’s transfer to new owner, Turkish media mogul, Acun Ilicali. His contract is for two-and-a-half years.

On his debut game as manager against Swansea City two days after his appointment, Hull City team won 2–0 at home.

Arveladze was raised in Tbilisi when it was still part of the former USSR in the 1970s. Spending most of his time playing the beautiful game, he played alongside the likes of Georgi Kinkladze (whom English fans will remember), his talent was recognised early.

The 6ft (1.82 m) former striker is his home country’s top goal scorer with 291 goals in his 410 league games for his clubs and 26 goals in his 61 games for the Georgian team.  Holding the best strike record of Georgian football, Arveladze was nominated as Georgia’s best player as well as the best player by the Georgian Professional Football league survey.

Besides the above accolades, Arveladze’s 27 goals scored in the UEFA Cup competition ranks him 7th in the tournament’s history.

He is best remembered in English football as playing for the Glasgow Rangers. Between 2001-2005, he won two league titles, two Scottish Cups and the Scottish League Cup.

Coaching Career

After retiring as a player, Arveladze was appointed as assistant manager of AZ under head coach and former Ajax coach Louis van Gaal in July 2008, where he remained in the position for the 2009/20 season.

Like slots players moving from enjoying ordinary pokies to the best pokies, he then moved to the Turkish club Kayseripor for the 2010/11 season followed by the Istanbul club, Kasimpasa SK from 2012-2015. Arveladze was then appointed as manager for Trabzonspor before moving to the Maccabi Tel Aviv side in 2016.

A year later he was named head coach for The Uzbekistan club Pakhtakor Tashkent, where his team went on to win the Uzbekistan Super League Cup in 2019 and 2020.

Arveladze inherits Hull City, a side ranking 19th in the Championship, 9 points above the relegation zone.

To sum up, his club manager and head coach roles include:

2010-2012 (Kayseripor)

2012-2015 (Kasimpasa)

2015 (Trabzonsspor)

2016-2017 (Maccabi Tel Aviv)

2017-2020(Pakhtakor Tashkent)

2022- (Hull City).

Hull City football club has a squad of 27 with an average age of 24. Of the 27 players, 7 are foreigners, roughly 25.9%. Two players play for the national team and the current transfer record is -€800 k. The market value of the Tigers is €30,75 million.

Meanwhile, Tiger fans are hoping for good things under Arveladze’s leadership. They shouldn’t be disappointed as his family have football in their blood.

His brothers, Archil (his twin) and Revaz (older brother) also played international football, as did Revaz’s son Vato.

Shota Arveladze says he is looking forward to working with the Tigers’ attacking players and fans cannot wait to se what the team does next.

2021 has been a roller coaster ride for all involved, and this is no different for Hull City. From a disappointment at the end of last season to winning the league is an incredible feat for which the team must be commended. Although this is only the start of their new journey.

As ownership changes into potentially more passionate and capable hands, Hull City could still be very much on the rise going into 2022. As we look forward to a new year and new possibilities, it’s important to remember to look to the last year to understand the mistakes and appreciate the amazing times.

Grant McCann

To look back and understand the year that has just passed, there is no better opinion than that of the Hull City FC manager, Grant McCann. He has some great words to say about the year past and looking towards the future.

McCann says that it has been an incredible year all round and when they won the league it as probably his best year in the sport. After the disappointment of the first season in the Championship, to be able to bounce back and win the league was a credit to everyone who was connected to the club. Every person involved put in the hard work and the results spoke for themselves.

It was a time when a lot of people were proved wrong, and McCann says he is so glad that was the case. He added that the win against Wigan couldn’t have made him prouder and that scooping the league trophy was a moment of absolute triumph. For fans, it was a victory 55 years in the making, making it all the more special.

There is no doubt that Grant is extremely proud of his team and looking forward to a bright 2022 for Hull City FC. There is undoubtedly some tension with the potential takeover happening, but also in incredible amount of opportunity to keep the fantastic upwards momentum.

Up And Coming

Grant proceeded to highlight two young players who have proved their worth in the team this year. Keane Lewis-Potter and Jacob Greaves have both put on a performance like no other and have adapted to their new roles extremely quickly. The move to the championship has been a stressful and hopeful one all around, these two young men have shown that they are championship worthy despite their young age.

Looking forward

Grant himself has said that the win at Barnsley was big, and it gave the players a real sense of belonging at that level. They are now looking forward to the next season and once again defying critics and exceeding expectations. One thing is for sure, 2022 has the potential to be a fantastic year for Hull City.

]]>
In a proud moment for Hull City FC, retired player Garreth Roberts is officially being honoured into the Hull City Hall of fame. Famed for being one of the longest running single club players of all time, Garreth took pride in his teams and has a passion that can still be respected today.

Early Career

In his early life, Garreth always looked up to his local football team, Hull City, with admiration and pride. Being a great footballer himself, he was determined to one day stand amongst them. Little did Garreth know that he would lead them in not too many years. At the age of 17 Garreth was taken on as an apprentice to the team, allowing him to help the team and see better what life was like inside professional football at the time.

Garreth made the best of his situation and dedicated himself to the team, to eventually be noticed and put on as a sub. It took a few games for Garreth to eventually be called up to action, but when he did, the ride to the top was definitely a steep one. From his first game where Hull City managed a fantastic 4-1 win, Garreth became a staple starter for the team, starting an impressive 413 of Hull City’s next 546 games.

The Real Rise Of Career

Following shortly after his first years, Garreth was made captain of the Hull City team. For the best understanding, there is little better explanation than from Garreth himself. He said that it was Mike Smith who first made him the team’s captain. At the time, he was only 20 or 21.

At first, he says it was a bit of a poisoned chalice because there were a lot of older pro players who didn’t like the fact that they’d gotten overlooked and upstaged by a young local boy. For a year or so, it was tough going for the captain as he’d get snide remarks. The changing rooms were a minefield, and it became important to be able to avoid the bullies and stand up for yourself.

He describes the time as one where he had to sink or swim and says that he tried to not focus too much on being captain. He simply wanted to give everything he had for the team because it was his club. It was clear Garreth was in the team for not only a passion for football but a passion for Hull City.

The Proving Times

The early 1980s saw Hull City FC in a bit of a slump, after which came the big come up. Garreth lead his teammates to what would become known as his and some of the team’s best performance.

These amazing times and all the years of incredibly hard work has cemented Garreth a place in the Hull City Hall of fame. The longest single standing player to play for only Hull City FC and a true legend.

]]>
After many speculations and assumptions, finally the takeover of Hull City has been fully confirmed. On New Year’s Day, Turkish media tycoon Acun ilicali confirmed he will officially be taking over the Hull City Football club.

This has been a long road for Acun as he has been in talks for this takeover for a while. For the moment, he sees nothing but a bright future and success ahead.

Acun Ilicali

Acun Ilicali is best known as being a Turkish broadcaster, but that is not all to this impressive businessman. Acun has set himself up as the owner of 2 Turkish broadcast channels, the digital platform Exxen and production companies in several countries including the United States, Mexico and Romania.

This impressive resume has allowed Acun to pursue more passion projects. We have known for a while that Acun did want to buy into an English team, with his statement from last January saying that he

may purchase a club in England as this area had a different ambience and excitement.

As we know today, Hull City FC was the chosen and perhaps perfect team. While some team owners see football as a business move, in this case, Acun seems to be in it purely for the passion of the sport. He says that the love he sees for the team in the city makes him incredibly happy and that the fans are ready for them to go all out. He wants to achieve success with the team for the fans, and to make them feel part of the team. All in, this seems like a fantastic move for Acun and Hull City FC.

The Fans

At times, the ownership changes of a team can be a contentious topic at best. In this particular situation, the new ownership seems to be a blessing from all angles. It is no secret that Hull City FC has been struggling as of late, with performance nowhere near what is expected. The fans have for the most part welcomed the change, as Acun seems to be willing to spend the required money – which certainly will be in line with the size of the biggest jackpots found at https://megacasinobonuses.co.nz/ –  to bring the team up to success once again.

In the past few months, we have seen many fans stay away from home games in protest of Allam’s current way of running the club, this change should see the fans return to stadiums in a big way and hopefully an incredible change for the team as a whole.

What To Expect

All the expectations and predictions thus far are only positive for the future of Hull City FC. With the increased support in terms of leadership and financial status, the next few months will hopefully see a great turn in the team’s performance.

For now, the biggest consideration will be the transfers to happen in the remainder of January, as these transfers stand to change a lot in the team’s overall abilities.
