The last five matches played by the Tigers have had some ups and downs, but overall Nigel Adkins has been reported to be delighted by the latest efforts from his team.

After our last update on the matches played against Sheffield United, Barnsley and Millwall, the coach is much happier with the team’s performance.

Coach Adkins is especially delighted with the Tigers efforts against Wolverhampton Wanderers, the championship leaders, the 2-2 draw showing his team confidence.

As we wait in anticipation for the next match against Queens Park Rangers, why not keep yourself occupied with a look around a few Australian betting sites, you could get as lucky as Hull has in some of their matches.

Here is the breakdown of the last five matches, and a breakdown of Hulls performance:

Hull City vs Norwich City

4-3

This match was full of thrills, especially Norwich City’s James Maddison’s first half hat trick, but even this amazing hat trick could not ensure a victory for Norwich.

The Tigers managed a brilliant recovery from 3-1 down, getting Awarded 4 penalties and converting each of these!

Coach Adkins was delighted by his team’s performance against Norwich, a vast improvement from their prior match against Millwall.

Hull City vs Ipswich Town

3-0

Tigers fans and players alike breathed a bit easier after this win over Ipswich, with relegation fears being kept back a little bit further.

Hull took the lead in the 18th minute of this match, and was very convincing in their thrashing of Ipswich.  The second goal came in the 28th minute while the final goal was scored just two minutes in to the second half.

Coach Adkins was beyond thrilled with his player’s performance, and excited for his teams second win in a row.

Hull city vs Birmingham City

0-3

Birmingham city have been struggling for a while but made this win over the Tigers look easy! The lethargic Tigers barely offered a defence and this loss placed them just 6 points above the last three teams.

The Blues made an early start to scoring, when Jota bagged a neat goal from Che Adams great pass, and things seemed to get easier from there.

Coach Adkins was blindsided by the poor display of his team after the previous two matches great results. He has said he will be reflecting on this match and changes to the line up as a result.

Hull City vs Aston Villa

0-0

Though this ended in a 0-0 draw, this was a great showing by the Tigers, as they frustrated Aston Villa’s weak attempts to score.

With Hull fighting to stay out of relegation, you could see their determination to make no unnecessary mistakes or give way to Aston Villa.

The Tigers kept their defense strong, and were denied an obvious penality early in the second half – which could have had a huge impact on not only this match but the Tigers points in the championship.

Hull City vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

2-2

Coach Adkins six changes to the team obviously made a great impact, and was a brilliant move. Adkins decided to freshen up the line up and the change could be seen on the field.

The Wolves expected to walk away with all eight points for this match, but the great effort put out by the Tigers showed they were no walkovers.

The equaliser from Hull caused much frustration amongst the Wolves as it was a direct result of a sloppy concession by Costa, causing an easily converted goal by Meyler.

With our last updates on matches the Tigers played against Chelsea and Middlesbrough, and the overall trouncing we received, The Tigers have made a come back with their recent three matches.

The first match after the thrashing by Middlesbrough was against Sheffield United, with the Tigers winning 1-0 on the 23rd of February. This was followed by a draw of 1-1 against Barnsley on the 27th of February and a loss of 1-2 to Millwall on the 6th of March. Each of these matches was held at the home stadium, so maybe home crowd advantage helped in these instances?

So coach Nigel Adkins must be feeling a little better about the team but has openly expressed his unhappiness with the performance against Millwall, stating that he has never seen the team perform so badly as they had in the first half of this match. More work is needed to keep the performance of the team consistent, and less prone to such in match fluctuations.

Coach Adkins needs to take a chill, and play a different sort of game to relax. Maybe he should try yoga or some play some online slots Canada sites have to offer.

Here we give a breakdown of the matches and Hull FC performance:

Hull FC vs Sheffield United

1-0

This essential win over Sheffield United moved Hull FC 3 points away from the relegation zone, which is a relief for fans and the team. Also worth mentioning was the pause in the game due to Hull fans throwing faux balls on the field, in a protest against the owners of the club.

Though the first half was stopped briefly, it actually did not interrupt much as the first half was pretty uneventful.

The single goal of the match was scored by Nouha Dicko with a pass from Jackson Irvine, The Blades were close to an equaliser a time or two but could not manage the follow through.

Coach Nigel was pleased with the work put in by his team and happy with the results of their efforts.

Hull FC vs Barnsley

1-1

Though Coach Nigel was disappointed that the Tigers did not manange to take all three points for this match, he was still happy with the overall performance of his team and to gain the additional 1 point. He once again spoke about the lack of consistency in the match, with the Tigers throwing away the first half and letting a sloppy goal through.

In the first half, on loan forward Oliver McBurnie gave Barnsley the lead with a header, but Hull capatain Michael Dawson managed to get them an equiliser with only 17 minutes left in the second half.

Hull FC vs Millwall

1-2

To say Coach Adkins was raging at the end of this match would be an understatement, he was bitterly disappointed by the sloppy work by his team against Millwall and had loads to say about their performance. I think the coach is going to be all over his team after that performance.

With the Tigers conceding a goal within 1 minute of match commencing, Nigel has some backing to the ear chewing he is giving the players currently. Hull FC was in poor form from the start of the match, with the first half a complete write off.

Words from the Managers

Nigel Adkins has admitted that his team caused their own downfall in this match against Chelsea, with the first 45 minutes just being used as a showcase for Chelsea to debut their championship skills.

Nigel admits that the game plan they had devised to be implemented in this match was lost within minutes of the match being started, with so many opportunities given to Chelsea it was surprising they did not score more goals.

Nigels half time pep talk seemed to help the team and he is more satisfied with that performance in that half. Nigel has some hopes for the team, so if they can work together as they did in the second half, and apply it to each match they will be much better off.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is now in a much better frame of mind for future matches against Chelsea, as they have proved their class in this match against Hull City.  With Chelsea’s blitz of four goals against Hull, the Blues are riding a winning high, with happy team management.

Chelsea had made a few changes to their line up, after they had trounced West Bromwich Albion on the Monday before this match.  Included in the line up for his debut was Emeron Palmieri, who was an active participant in this match – showing his worth in his first game.

0-4

The recent match between Hull City and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge showed multiple issues in Nigel Adkins line up but is a chance to make changes to better this team. Meanwhile Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has high hopes that his current line up will be taking his team to great new heights this year.

So if you lost a bet or two on Hull vs Chelsea, why not try some other form of entertainment to take you mind of this stinging loss? Maybe a few rounds of the Canadian online slots has to offer or a trip to the local pub to distract you and cheer you up.

Match review

First half

Within the first half of the match it was clear that Chelsea was dominating Hull FC, with four rapid goals scored, winning Chelsea the fifth round of the FA Cup.

The first goal was scored by the Brazilian Willian who scored an amazing curler goal right off in the opening seconds. Fabregas then doubled the lead, after Willian played him in from the corner.

A near miss from Giroud in the 13th minute was still a pleasure to watch and a pity it was missed. Willian scored again while tagging the ball with Giroud, with the French striker scoring his first goal for since he was moved from Arsenal using Palmeiris left wing cross to score a smart goal.

Second half

Although no goals were scored in the second half, at least Hull had worked on its defence and managed to keep Chelsea from further goal annihilation.

All said, this was a dismal performance by Hull City, and they now have serious relegation fears to conquer.

3-1

The most recent match Hull was in did not bring joy and happiness or even a return of some confidence in Hull as a club. Another underperformance has left fans and club management with a lot of concern for future relegation possibilities.

So if you are still feeling a bit down, and need some excitement before the next match try out some online sites, a few wins should cheer you up.

Words from the Managers

Middlesbrough manager, Tony Pulis had been recently attacking his teams attacking efforts, and showed no confidence in their abilities after their prior defeat to Cardiff. But he must be a bit more pleased with the results of this win against Hull, with great showing from Adama Traore.

Tony expressed his delight with the Rudy Gestedes goals, lamenting his missed hat trick opportunity, when his attempt hit the posts.

With Rudy Gestede returning from injury, and not quite as fit as he would like, the goals he scored in this match have made Tony confident in his progress.

Additionally the goal by Patrick Bramford has made the Chelsea manager happy; as he agrees that Patrick needed a bit of a boost to his confidence and this goal will most likely do the trick.

Meanwhile Nigel Adkins has confirmed his disappointment in the three goals conceded in this match, he was happy with the possession percentage in the first half of the match, and the amount of attempted shots taken, he admits to being disappointed in some of his players.

Nigel admits the defence in this match was dreadful, and stated he had thought they had eradicated these issues. He will be focusing on individuals to correct these defensive errors.

This last loss for Hull FC drags this great club closer and closer to relegation status, here is hoping Nigel works wonders and can turn this ship around.

Match review

First half

Middlesbrough almost claimed their first goal within eight minutes of the match beginning, with Rudy Gestedes header into the goal post causing him some frustration. Another eight minutes later, Bamford set Gestede up for a quick and easy goal, with a simple nodding past Hull goal keeper Allan McGregor.

By this point it seemed that the match was clearly being dominated by Midlesbrough, but Hull never gave the fight to remain part of this match, even with the speed and trickery of Adama Traore working against them. Hull managed to level up about four minutes before half time, after missing an opportunity in the 25th minute.

Midlesbrough made their second goal just at half time, with Bamford intercepting  Ola Ainas slack ball passing and sending on to Middlesbrough Striker who scored an easy goal.

Second half

With Midlesbrough nearly making some serious concessions at the beginning of the first half, they quickly returned to form and insured no additional gaps were offered to Hull.

Middlesbrough claimed their third and final goal just before the hour mark, taking advantage of the loose defence set up by Hull.

With the recent transfer window in January 2018, loads of transfers have occurred across the various teams and countries. So now that the window has closed, on the 31st of January, let us take a look at the changes to the Hull FC line up.

The new and existing players make for an exciting season, so mark your calendar for the match dates.

Henry Wilson

The new edition is on loan from Liverpool for the rest of this season, and is tipped to add a lot of extra flair to Nigel Adkins squad.

The young winger was the Tigers second recruit on the last day of the transfer period, and Wilson has declared his delight and interest in the transfer to Hull.

Though he is only 20 years old, Wilson worked his way through the Liverpool Academy, to make his debut last season as a substitute for Anfield.

Wilson has been a regular in the under 21 squad, for Wales but also played for them against Belgium at just 16 years old. Wilson also has signed a long term deal with the Anfield club, so he will be looking to impress Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp by assisting Hull in their Championship battles.

Touted as one of football’s hottest up and coming young players, Henry Wilson will be watched closely by fans, fellow players and especially club owners.

Angus MacDonald

The signing of MacDonald for an undisclosed fee from Barnsley was completed on the 31st of January, with MacDonald agreeing to a tow and half year deal, with a possible one year extension option.

This experienced player has worked his way through the Reading Academy and had a spot on the Under 16 and the under 19 team for England. He has also played for AFC Wimbledon, Salisbury City and Torquay United before landing a spot in Barnsley in 2016.

He made the first team captain of the Oakwell club at the beginning of the past season, and he had played 54 times for them. This central defender will add some youth and greatly needed skill to the squad, and also assist with the Championship struggle this year.

MacDonald is thrilled to be a part of the Hull team, and considers it a great opportunity to advance in his career. He is looking forward to impressing Nigel Adkins with his impeccable skills and diligent training.

Will Keane

Once again fit, Keane is looking forward to assisting the Tigers win against the Lilywhites on Saturday. Keane had spent half of the 2015/16 campaign with the Lilywhites on loan, and will enjoy his return to Deepdale.

Keane speaks highly of the Lilywhites and his time there but is now focused on the Tigers and the win against the Lilywhites.

Since his return to form after his knee ligament injury, Keane has made three substitute appearances and is happy to be back in the action with the first team. Will Keane has expressed his positivity about his comeback from injury, and his faith in his fellow team mates and management is strong.

The upcoming 2017/2018 season with the new players and the returning players is looking good, so expect some fight from the tigers and no quit attitude.
